Kelly began her career in finance at M&T Bank in 2003 as a Teller and Customer Service Associate. In January of 2007, she joined Riley Nichols & Munn as a Client Service Associate. In 2009 she earned her Series 7 & 63 Securities registrations through LPL Financial, allowing her to continue working closely with clients and begin to develop their portfolios for continued success.

In 2021 Kelly became a Partner of the firm. As of October 2022, Kelly is now Co-Founder & Partner of Riley Whalen Inc, alongside her father, Steve Riley. As Partner, Kelly will continue to develop client relationships and exemplify our company’s highest standards of integrity and service. She is excited to help lead Riley Whalen Inc. and its clients in the next phase of continued success.

Kelly resides in Fairport, NY with her husband of over 17 years and their two sons. She is an avid reader, practices Pilates, loves supporting her sons in their extracurricular activities, and enjoys spoiling her dog, Bandit.
