Rob joined Riley Whalen Inc. in 2025, bringing with him over two decades of leadership and service as a U.S. Navy SEAL Officer. A native of West Islip, NY, Rob earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in 2001, where he played for the nationally ranked men’s soccer team.

He began his military career in 2004, earning his commission in 2009 from Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, and later completed a Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2018. Throughout his Navy career, Rob led elite SEAL teams on multiple combat operations. His personal decorations include the Bronze Star with Combat “V” and Combat Action Ribbon.

Rob brings the same commitment to excellence, discipline, and service that defined his military career to his work in wealth management.

Most importantly, Rob is a devoted husband of over 19 years to his college sweetheart, Ashley, and a proud dad to their son, Jack. He resides in Pittsford, NY, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, hiking, biking, reading, and learning to play the guitar.
